FLIPPERS 1985 was shot in Port Jefferson on Long Island, on the beach, although it looks like a day shot. Covering seasons became a big part of the overall themes for the bumpers, so each year, we'd continue to add to the arsenal of images.  'Late Night' was added to the flippers from peel and stick lettering and 'With David Letterman' was hand painted on the original chromogenic print.
