MILK DUDS was shot in the screening room at 30 Rock — with Ted, who was an intern, wearing the jacket while hugging one of the producers. Over the years, the tail logo was used within the show in many ways and became the logo for the show. The logo itself, was inspired one night while in the NBC art department watching SNL. All of the MLB logos were on a table for NBC Sports and Karzen drew Late Night in the style of the Baltimore Orioles and thought we could put it on a letterman jacket.  'With David Letterman' was hand drawn in yellow paint onto the chromogenic master print.
